Baoding Sanyuan Special type Glass Company Ltd. Is a Sino-American
joint venture with a registered capital of $666 million
(Chinese side, 70%; American side, 30%). The estate of
the present company is 129 million RMB.
公司位于满于公路与京广线565铁路交叉处，紧靠国家物资储备局132处，距107国道仅4公里，距保定市区18公里，交通运输十分便利。公司配有电力专线，水、电、暖供应齐全，公司现有员工168人，其中技术人员36人，中级以上职称18人。1998年通过ISO9002:1994质量体系认证，并通过英国国家质量保证有限公司（NQA）质量体系认证（UKAS）。
Baoding Sanyuan Special type Glass Company Ltd. Enjoys a very
convenient transportation: it is situated right at the
juncture of Manyu Highway and Branch 565 of Jingguang
Railway. The distance from the Company proper to 107 National
Highway is only 4 km. The distance from Sanyuan to Baoding
is only 18km. By the side of the company is the National
Goods and Material Storage Bureau. The infrastructure
of Sanyuan is perfect and it enjoys sufficient supply
of electricity, water and heating. There are about 168
in this company. Within this working stuff 36 are technicians
and 18 are engineers. In 1998 this company passed ISO9002;
in 1994, quality system certificate. It also acquired
its UKAS issued by NQA.
我公司经过十多年的建设和发展，具有一定的技术装备水平和生产能力，现有一条从美国引进的年产80万平方米的水平弯钢化玻璃生产线；一条年产10万平方米干法夹层玻璃生产线；一台年产20万片（对）美国产全自动电脑控制连续热弯炉；以及进口及国产的切、磨、洗、丝网印刷等一批予处理玻璃加工设备。主要产品为：平弯钢化玻璃、干法夹层玻璃、汽车、火车等安全玻璃、防弹玻璃、抗冲击玻璃等，同国内十多个汽车生产厂家有正常业务关系，同各个金融部门有防弹、抗冲击玻璃业务，现阶段正常情况下年销售收入9000万元，利润1600万元，但设备设计能力产值2.2亿元。
After more than10 years of development, the equipment
and production ability of Baoding Sanyuan Special type Glass
Company Ltd have been greatly improved. There is now a
horizontal tempered glass bending system imported from
the United States, the annual production of which is about
800,000㎡, and a laminated glass production line whose
annual production is 100,000㎡ and a computerized automatic
hot-bending furnace which can produce 200,000 pairs of
glass annually. Our company also owns glass processing
equipments made both at home and abroad for pretreatment
such as cutting, milling, washing, and silkscreen printing.
Our main products include the following: horizontal bending
tempered glass, laminated glass, Special type glass used on
cars and trains, bullet proof glass and anti-impact glass.
We have business contracts with more than 10 automobile
plants and some banks. The annual sales total at present
is 90 million RMB, the interest of which is 16 million
RMB. However, the designed annual production total of
the above equipment is 220 million RMB.
公司经过近几年的发展，技术水平有了很大的提高。然而，随着国民经济的不断迅猛发展，作为国家支柱产业的建筑业快速启动，建筑用安全玻璃、节能玻璃等玻璃深加工产品已经开始大量应用，市场也还逐步扩大，销售形势也看好，随着高层建筑的增加，安全问题也越来越重要。
In recent years the technological level of this company
has been greatly improved. Our national economy is now
developing very fast. Construction industry, as the main
stain of the country, has already started at a high speed.
Such deeply processed glass products as Special type glass and
energy-saving glass used in civil building are in large
demand and as there are more and more multi-storey buildings,
Special type problem has become extremely important.
因此，国家建设部下达了《建筑玻璃应用技术规程》、《民用建筑节能技术标准》等法规，强制企业在高层建筑和高级建筑必须使用安全玻璃和节能玻璃。继而，北京、上海、广州、天津等大中城市也相继颁布了高层建筑必须使用安全玻璃的强制性地方法规，为建筑用安全玻璃开拓了市场，销售市场很广阔。为适应这一市场变化，我公司已调整了产品结构，并且生产水平也有了相应的提高，以达到优势互补，走上快速发展的健康轨道。
The Ministry of Construction of our country issued for
this purpose Applied Technology Regulations for Special type
Glass in Building and Energy Saving Standard for Civil
Building in order to ensure the strict application of
Special type glass and energy-saving glass in the construction
of tall buildings. Then Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou,
Tianjin and other big cities also issued relevant local
regulations. The practice of both the Ministry of Construction
and the big cities really enlivened the marketing of Special type
glass. In order to meet the demand of the market, our
company has also adjusted the structure of our products
so as to quicken the steps of our development.
但是，我公司现有的装备还不能适应市场发展的需要，先进的设备因不配套而不能充分发挥应有的作用，严重制约了公司的发展，产品生产也受到了限制（特别是中空玻璃及高级建筑玻璃和高档汽车安全玻璃因设备不配套而不能满足技术要求），使公司的销售额和利润总额受到严重影响。影响了公司在市场中的竞争能力，因此，为适应市场需求，拓展产品领域，调整产品结构，积极参与市场竞争，增强企业发展的后劲，提高企业经济效益，使公司在市场经济中立于不败之地。公司急需资金对现有技术装备和设备进行完善和扩建。
But the equipments of Sanyuan cannot satisfy the demand
of the market and the lack of necessary part of the advanced
equipment has greatly limited the variation of products
(for example, the production of insulating glass, Special type
glass for building and quality automobile Special type glass
cannot meet the technical requirements) and the development
of the company. Therefore, in order to become a powerful
competitor in the glass market and do contributions to
our consumers and our country, our company is eager to
invite investment in the project of perfecting and extending
our present production lines.
完善设备和扩建项目总投资5532万元，其中固定资产投资3815万元，专业生产设备投资2650万元，厂房等配套设施工程投资396万元，其它费用769万元。
流动资金需投资1717万元，其中铺底流动资金515万元。
本项目总投资5532万元，拟贷款或融资5017万元。第一期使用设备购置费3815万元（含147万美元），第二期使用流动资金等其它费用1202万元。
主要设备购置及安装费为2650万元，选购设备在原则上能用国产化的尽量选用国产的，对技术水平要求高的，国内达不到技术标准的设备，拟引进国际上先进的且知名度高的设备。（这段可不要）
The total investment in the project of perfecting and
extending our present production lines is about 55.32
million RMB, 38.15 million of which is for estates (26.5million
for production facilities; 3.96 million for attached equipments
and infrastructure and 7.69 million for other necessaries.)
and 17.17 million is used as circulating capital (5.15
million is pre-invested circulating capital.)
During this process of capital accumulation, 50.17 million
RMB will be loaned or collected. The sum total of money
invested in equipment purchasing in the first period is
38.15 million (It includes 1.47 million dollars invested
in purchasing equipments attached to the horizontal bending
system). The circulating capital in the second period
is 1.202 million RMB.
进口设备主要有：
拟从奥地利李赛克公司引进1台价值约80万美元玻璃自动切割机和1条价值约67万美元中空玻璃生产线，拟从瑞士引进1台玻璃予处理设备，其它如：汽车玻璃用水平式平弯钢化炉1台，建筑玻璃用大面积水平式平弯钢化炉1台，直线磨边机2台，斜边磨边机1台，异形磨边机1台，清洗干燥机2台等选用国产的设备，国内设备约1344万元。
The equipments we have planned to import aboard are as
follows: one automatic cutting machine (800,000 US dollars)
and one insulating glass production line (670,000 US dollars)
from Lisec, Austria. The equipments we have planned to
buy at home (1,344 millionRMB) include the following:
one glass pretreatment machine from Switzerland, one horizontal
cylinder bending machine to produce automobile glass,
one horizontal bending furnace to produce large glass
for civil building, two straight-line edging machines,
one straight-line bevelling machine, one shape grinding
machine, two glass cleaning machines.
本项目因利用部分厂房等设施，建设期为一年，第二年投产。达产年销售收入达到1.53亿元，其中，中空玻璃7200万元，建筑安全玻璃6500万元，汽车用钢化玻璃1600万元(本项目新增)，利润总额为2420万元，利税总额为3201万元。据估算，本项目不含建设期的投资回收期为4.9年（税前4.8年）。
Owing to the present infrastructure of Sanyuan Special type
Glass Company Ltd, the construction period of this project
is one year. In the second year this company will go into
operation. The yearly sales total is supposed to be 153
million RMB, of which the sales of insulating glass will
reach 72 million RMB; the sales of Special type glass for building,
65 million RMB; the sales of Special type glass for road vehicles,
16 million RMB. The total of interests and taxation will
get to 320.1 million RMB; the total interests will reach
242 million RMB. According to estimation, the coverage
period will 4.9 years, excluding one year of construction.
本项目投资所用借款采用税后利润偿还，第二年年末偿还1200万元，第三年年末还1500万元，第四年年末还1500万元，第五年年末本息还清，借款本金和利息大约3-4年可以还清。
The way of compensation of the loan of this project will
be compensation by interests after being taxed. The total
of compensation in the second year is 12 million RMB;
the total of compensation in the third year is 15 million
RMB; the total of the fourth year is 15 million RMB; in
the fifth year the total of borrowed money and its interests
will be completely covered. The total length of time is
3-4 years.
